About Us

The organization was initiated in 2003 with initiative of Sh Basudev, who have had experience of working with marginalized communities of the region and felt their plight. The organization is serving the tribal and most marginalized communities of Lalitpur District, which falls in one among most backward region of the country i.e. Bundelkhand. Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan has empowered the local communities and resulted in restoring their land rights, their effective stake in farm produce, effective implementation of Public Distribution System (PDS), MGNREGA Job Cards and other schemes designed for their benefits. Earlier these communities were not able to leverage the benefits as per their entitlements. Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan has succeeded upto significant extent to build confidence in the targeted communities and bring them up from the situation, where they had been victims of several human right violations.
